Privacy policyGallery Bridge

Last updated 7 October 2026

Gallery Bridge moves a list of your own galleries from the gallery host you are signed into, to the portfolio site you choose. It keeps nothing, sends nothing to us, and does nothing until you press the button.

What it reads

When you press the button, and only then, it reads the list of collections from the Pixieset tab you have open, using the session you are already signed in with. If that tab is not the one in front, it looks for it among your open tabs — and it can only see the address of a tab you have already granted it access to, which is Pixieset and your own portfolio. Every other tab is invisible to it, address included.

From each collection it keeps four things:

  • the gallery name
  • the gallery link
  • the cover image address
  • the event date

What it reads to decide

It also looks at whether a gallery is still in draft, so it can leave the drafts behind — a draft opens for nobody but you, and putting one in your portfolio would publish a link that shows your clients an error page. That flag is used to decide and is never sent anywhere.

What it deliberately throws away

The list your gallery host returns carries far more than that — on a typical account, over sixty fields per gallery. Among them: download PINs, collection passwords, client private passwords, client names and client email addresses.

None of those leave your browser. They are discarded in the same step that picks the four fields above, before anything is sent anywhere.

Where it sends what it keeps

To one place: the portfolio address you typed in yourself, which is your own site. The sending is done by your own portfolio tab, using the sign-in you already have there.

It never sends anything to the extension’s publisher. There is no server of ours in this. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and nothing is sold or shared with anybody.

What it stores

Two things: the address of your portfolio, so you do not type it every time, and whether you want galleries still in draft left behind. Both are kept in Chrome’s own extension storage on your computer. Removing the extension removes them.

It stores no password and no access token — not yours, not your gallery host’s, not your portfolio’s.

Permissions, and why

Reading the active tab
To read your gallery list from the Pixieset tab when it is the one you are looking at as you press the button.
Running scripts
To run the reader in that tab, and to hand the result to your portfolio tab.
Storage
To remember your portfolio's address.
Access to Pixieset
To read your gallery list, and to find that tab when it is not the one in front. It is the only site the extension is granted at install.
Access to your portfolio's site
Requested when you type the address, not at install. Needed to deliver the list.

Children

Not directed at children and not intended for them.

Changes

If what this extension does with data ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
